This 1926 Craftsman Bungalow has been transformed into a light & airy, cozy cottage. The interior was completely gutted in order to accommodate for a more open floorplan and an entirely new upper level. The goal in this home was to make it feel freshly updated with touches of warmth, while remaining true to the original craftsman characteristics it once had. This was accomplished by restoring & refinishing the original oak hardwood floors, keeping the arched wall openings, keeping the original tile on the main floor fireplace, and replicating craftsman-like tile throughout the home. The owner had a handful of original Stickley furniture that we re-upholstered with a color palette that so beautifully ties together with it's surroundings. The juxtaposition of the cool color scheme against the warm golden tones of the hardwood flooring & furniture is what makes this home most special. Every sentimental piece of artwork, accessory and furnishing has a story that this home can now showcase and surely deserves.
